Have you ever had a temp agency not tell you what the job title was or even so much as a job description?

I went to a job interview totally blindfolded. They didn’t confirm the interview with any info, but accidentally gave me an internal email that had the address on it and the manager’s name. They didn’t tell me the job title. They said it was Data Entry and it was Dispatch. They didn’t tell me about the phone work and multi-tasking at all. They are lucky I was able to figure it out from their trail of emails sent to me by mistake. Oh, and in that email they mentioned about a person they didn’t want to hire and why. How unprofessional. When I called to explain that I went on the interview dispite all of this, they were thrilled and apologized while laughing about it. It was funny and I was hoping the recruiter didn’t forget to tell the employer that I was coming. That would have been really embarassing. Oh, and the door was locked and I had to use an intercomm to get in. By then, I was 5 minutes late because the building was like an indoor/outdoor maze. They said they needed to be hidden in case of bomb threats because of upset customers. Can you please share your horror stories with temp agencies? Thanks.
