If you earn money through online (work from home) data entry do you have to declare this when paying taxes?

My current situation is that I am living in a country where I have a visitor visa but I legally cant work here, i’m staying here solely as my girlfriend is here for the next 6 months, so my question is if I earn money through online opportunities is this illegal to earn while i’m here or can I use my Soc Security no from my native country (UK) and pay taxes on what I earn through the UK – I have no clue what the correct thing to do here is?
