What You Need and Don't Need to Make Money Online

Two and a half years ago I was unemployed, but I had a laptop and a car to drive to the library to get internet access, so with my limited resources I was able to make money online. Since then I was in a car accident that left me physically disabled, and after a year my savings were depleted. I found myself in another precarious situation, but I have learned a lot. So if you are new to making money on the internet, I hope you find this list helpful.

What You Need and Don’t Need To Make Money Online

You don’t need good credit, but you do need a credit or debit card. Most, if not all of the tools that you need to make money online require that you put your card on file, even if they offer a free or low cost trial. If you have bad credit, and you don’t have a credit card, you are in a difficult position. Well if I had known about account now a couple of years ago, I would have recommended that several of my students go there to get a prepaid Visa debit card. Account Now has a 100% approval rating, and it’s free to sign up.

You don’t need a computer, but you do need internet access – You can get internet access at almost any library. You can also get it on some cell phones, but you will be severely limited trying to make money online with a cell phone.

You don’t need money but you do need desire – There were several times when I would show some of my students exactly what to do , and they still would not make any money. I kept trying to make it easier and easier for them. This was a huge learning experience for me. Some people talk a good game, and then they expect you to do everything for them. In hindsight, I realize how much time I wasted on people who really didn’t have any desire in the first place.

People who have never had success in any other business venture or income opportunity, and expect to magically be able to make money online are delusional. The internet makes it possible to turn nothing into something, but if you have a something for nothing attitude, there is no hope for you.
